Art at the Allotment

Not our allotment unfortunately. Its the The Green Backyard which is a vibrant community growing project in the heart of Peterborough that was established in 2009, which is run entirely by volunteers. A once derelict former allotment site has been transformed into a beautiful and productive community allotment that is open to everyone. Lots of different groups use this facility which has fought to stay open.

It is right beside the east coast main line and this is a picture of one of the pieces of art that edge the site.
