My Favourite Mug

I work for a charity and some years ago signed up to 'easyfundraising.co.uk' so I could raise while shopping online. The downside is that I regularly get e-mails from the retailers with special offers.

This offer was from Vistaprint. Get a free mug. I'm a mug fan so I thought I'd take them up on it. The mug, however, was a boring plain white with the option to upload a photo to have printed on it. Ok, I'll go for that. It wasn't an easy process but I managed it. The next step was to negotiate the 'add-ons' - no, I didn't want to buy business cards or key rings or coasters with my sons' grinning faces on them. Then, proceed to the check out. £1.15 to upload the photo, £1.14 to have it transferred onto the mug, £4.95 postage and packing. This 'free' mug cost me £7.24.

Now who's the mug?
