From yesterday's sublime to today's ridiculous

We are in the Victoria Centre, Nottingham, where there is currently an exhibition of decorated elephant statues called "Elephant Parade" - 30 of them in all, out of a total of 102!. This was our favourite.
The aim is to raise public awareness and support for Asian elephant conservation. This is part of the world's largest open air art exhibition of decorated elephant statues, previously seen in Singapore, Milan, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and London. The next stop after Nottingham will be Glasgow Braehead.
