Kinnoull Hill above the mist

I knew it would be a good day when I saw the sun just breaking through the fog. I climbed up through the woods, with the sun and mist alternating through the trees, taking pictures as I went. I'd be happy with many of them on almost any day but this one.

At the top, I could see the Tay valley hidden in white, and the view changing by the minute. This view was as good as I could hope for! 15 minutes later the fog has risen and there was nothing to be seen below.

I'm pleased with the sharpness of my new 45mm lens, and this picture is worth viewing large, I think.
