Art in Gateshead #5a exclusive preview

This is a major new piece of at which is to be installed in Trinity Square in the centre of Gateshead next month. It has ben assembled for testing at the factory where I was lucky enough to see it. It is called Halo and is made up of hundreds of stainless steel inflated pillows, a bit like solid, rectangular balloons. It is still covered in protective plastic but when it is installed it will reflect light.
