Fallen

Walking to work today, I passed this tree stump on campus. It's the last remains of a big eucalyptus that stood on the edge of arts road, a tree that lost some of it's quite substantial branches in strong winds towards the end of last year. Just before we broke for the Christmas break the tree surgeons felled it for safety's sake.

I'm steeling myself for a busy day tomorrow; I'm overseeing the Banks Peninsula A&P show photography section. Here's hoping we get lots of entries.
