The Willow Tearooms

One example, dotted around Glasgow, of Charles Rennie Macintosh's work. This one comes with cake, so always a winner with me.

Another favourite of mine is House for an Art lover, which is close to where I live on the South side of Glasgow. The house was brought to life by a team of designers; so striking how forward thinking CRM was as it feels entirely contemporary. I discovered his wife was also a very talented designer, and had input into the designs of this house (but rarely gets a mention - typical!).

I think the Willow Tearooms were under threat of closure - not sure if that's still the case.
