The gate awaits
After hearing today's forecast I went out early to try to get a Blip; a good tactical move as it's now dark and rainy. And we're lucky compared to Shetland which has a terrible forecast for the next 5 days.
This is a really solid and heavy gate which we use to keep the kye in control during the summer months. Last year we didn't have kye and the grass was cut and baled (the first cut it's had for years) so it's all the better for it. When April arrives I'll need to give this gate a good coating.
Today we will be sitting toght in Creel HQ. I'll be getting psyched up for the two, 3 hour dancing sessions over the weekend. We have also just booked our room for our annual pilgrimage to Newtonmore for the Dance Fest.
