View from the Shard

I had a breakfast meeting this morning in the View from the Shard - 69 floors above London Bridge station.

The views were stunning. The meeting started too late to see the sun rise though watching London emerge from early morning gloom into the full light of day was tremendous.

I was also struck by just how dense rush hour rail traffic is. Trains were moving between London Bridge, Cannon Street, Blackfriars and Waterloo with very little distance between each other.
