Daisy

Longstanding friends came to visit. We have not seen much of them recently, so it was very good to catch up, and we had a very enjoyable meal and evening together.

But Daisy, their golden retriever, is now a very old lady. We have known her since she was a fluffy bouncy pup. But getting on her feet (for her and her owners who have to help) is now a major struggle, and our friends say that in human terms she would be over 100 years old. So it is sad that her end cannot be far off.
