Any port in a storm

It has been pretty stormy today, not so much wind but intermittent showers. After having submitted my tax return I felt a reward was called for. Tax returns are not huge fun even for an accountant, especially when as I found out, there is tax to pay.

The port I headed for was the Park Cafe in Hazlehead Park. I managed to time my visit to arrive and depart without getting wet. This is a pretty slow exposure so I was even able to take this photograph without the camera getting soaked.

The sun was quite low, if it was there anywhere, so I liked the contrast of the dark day with the lights of the cafe. Park Cafe was busy as there was a party in the function room. Good to see it seems to be doing well even in winter.
