The Moat hasn't gone yet

Behind the church is a site which used to be a Medieval Manor House, the Court Garden, however that is long gone because it was made mostly of wood, but the outline of the moat and carp pond remain. At the moment it is much easier to see as there is quite a bit of water around. I expect frogs or toads will start laying their eggs in there soon if it doesn't disappear. Sadly the water never seems to stay long enough for the eggs to mature. Survival of the fittest.
