Clearing up

I set off early for my lunch date today because my hostess had moved to a new home in a different area and I wasn't sure where I was going. Not only that, there had been a lot of rain overnight and I was concerned about water on the roads.
I found my friend's lovely new home, only to find that all the other guests had cried off at the last minute because of the weather and road conditions. They all come from a different direction which is maybe why they had problems. So Jennifer and I had a quiet lunch in splendid isolation, just the two of us. There was plenty to eat!
I stopped on the way home for my blip and the sky, as so often this January, was spectacular.
