Guys Cliffe Warwick

Guys Cliffe was once a beautiful home it lies on the banks of the now flooded river Avon. It lies in the parish of Leek Wootton and was formerly the smallest parish in England. The names Guys Cliffe originates from the country home and estate that the land belonged to, which in turn was named after the Cliff that the house was built on. It's been in a ruined state since the late 20th century what a sin. It was damaged by fire whilst filming The adventures of Sherlock Holmes in 1992. Roo enjoyed a rather muddy walk. Dads not to well today. So I'm just off to see him.
