Tasmanian Devils at the Albuquerque Zoo

In the picture are the two girls, Kaylie in the foreground and Poppy farther back. They are part of a breeding program for endangered species and the Albuquerque zoo and the San Diego Zoos are the only US participants. Kaylie is very personable and wast happily exporling her exhibit. Poppy seemed comfortable but was more circumspect. The male on exhibit was busy hiding in a den since it is breeding season. They are quite a popular exhibit. The looking nothing like the Loony Tunes version but have the bite equivalent of a White Wolf. Quite amazing in such a small package.
