The answer to that is very. With temps down to a civil 23 degs we went for a drive around SheOaks today and came across the remains of the grass fire that burnt through the area a few days ago. As I was positioning myself for the shot I wanted I was stopped in my tracks by this guy.

Now any who know me know I am not a fan of these lttle creatures. Give me mice, rats, frogs and snakes no worries so to get up close with my standard 18-55mm lens is a real achievemnent. It did help that he was very big.

My grateful I have two - that Boris here did not start running as I was shooting him and that my lens cover was found - in someone's bedroom and sheepishly handed over.
