Nurse Maggie

Today's photo, rather than being my best photo of the day, is a photo to mark a day of significance, the day we will say goodbye to our beloved eleven year old Rottweiler, Tess.

Let me introduce you to Nurse Maggie. She has not lived on this earth for many months, perhaps only four, yet her sense of intuition is highly developed. Each day this week, Nurse Maggie has sat on our back veranda, singing sweet songs to our aged and ailing Tess.

Here you see her today on the veranda. She has made herself comfortable and is keeping a watchful eye on her patient.

A vet, a close friend of our eldest son, will be arriving shortly, to set Tess free of her weary form. Rest well our precious friend. xxx
