Skiing Boy

J's first ski lesson. I was nervous about making the financial commitment and signing him up. He didn't like skiing with dad last year so let's just say my hopes weren't high that he would last the two hours in class.

While most parents use this time to get some runs in, we ordered a beer and sat on the deck on this gorgeous day and watched from afar (with our zoom lens). Little sis played with her friend while we watched the older siblings in class. Every time he fell I was waiting for it to be the end. "Oh he's done," I thought.

Instead he amazed us. He had a great time, learned a lot and had a lot of fun along the way. He's already asking to go back. I'm so so proud of our boy.
