Puerto del Soller

Decided to do a wee day trip today and head up towards the mountains. Drove towards Palma then up to Soller. We always take the tunnel now, as the alternative is a vomit-inducing journey which leaves me feeling ill for the rest of the day. Expensive toll, but worth every penny.

Tottered around Soller watching the old tram pass regularly through the centre of the village. Drank a cafe con leche then a shoe shopping frenzy - 2 paris of shoes and a pair of boots. Eubers was shocked, but secretly pleased that he wouldn't have to be dragged round lots of shops another day! Mags was sending me texts - "g'on yourself Imelda". First thing she wanted to see when we got back though!

We then took a trip down to the port and walked around pretending to be stinking rich at the marina. It is a lovely place and well worth a visit.

We thought we might bump into Sollergirl, but we didn't. Shame.
