Inspiration

Voluntarily subjected myself to continuing professional development today! I jest, because it was worth the time I spent there. Listening to the panellists — although I seemed to have missed the best bits as I could only attend the second half — and being around like-minded people reminded me of my own experiences doing my little bit for access to justice. It's easy to lose sight of what I want to do in the future while I'm taking a break from law, so this was a timely reminder not to get distracted or sell out.

Also, the law faculty at HKU has gorgeous views and an architectural modernity that's quite a contrast to my university's law faculty. I wonder if students there get any time to admire the views!
