Penrose State Forest

This strange hilltop crowned with trees has always drawn me to it. It's just off the highway halfway between Sydney and Canberra. Today I drove 2 hours from Leura to Sydney to visit my first born Lucy and her boyfriend Alex. I gave them a hand with some furniture building projects and then drove for 3.5 hours back home just in time to give the ponies some carrots before bed. It's great to be at home again.
