Surprise Surprise !

I stopped the car & took this across the fields on the fringes of town. Not a particularly good shot & after various crops of the original picture I have skilfully photographed 2 herons (press L). Not that I knew at the time !!

The picture also shows how the countryside is typically looking at the moment, with birds of all varieties taking advantage of the floodwater.

Have had a migraine for 3days now, hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow.

Mild & dull so far with the occasional sunny spell.
