Safe & Warm

I know its not the case for many folks sadly -but for the most part safe & warm is something that we can take for granted. Certainly on the occasions when I'm not it's been through my own choices and decisions, perhaps even my own sense of adventure or need for challenge.
Today was a hard day to be out in the hills - there was literally no time from sunrise to sunset that there was either the opportunity or the subject matter to take a photo of the day - until, that is, we got back to base - and in our nice cosy world there was tea & cake waiting for us - something I'm immensely grateful for.
