Water torture

St Swithin St has been closed for water main work . This has been going on and on for a while.

Actually quite enjoying a little bit of peace and quiet - no cars and vans hurtling down the hill breaking the speed limit, and managed to take a stroll down the middle of the road today to look at the impressive machines digging yet more holes at the bottom of the road.
