L8 Supermarket was selling quinces for £2.99 / box. Rude not to, really. Now we're making jam and I was reminded the last time I mentioned we had acquired a batch of quinces, Lemonzest suggested a slice in a G&T is particularly satisfying. He wasn't wrong.

Spatchcocked poussin, marinading in lots of salt, lemon juice, garlic, herbs and a dash of cognac. Some people might recognise that as a recipe we swiped from up the Baranc. Thanks Gori ;-)
