Waffying Around!

Another completely relaxed start to the day and then a wee jaunt out to do the bare necessities of a shop!!

At least that's how it started, but we made a detour to one of our more exclusive malls.....Wafi...to see the art and craft fair that was taking place!! Needless to say...I succumbed to a purchase from this wonderfully colourful stall with such cute jewellry flower chains and earings!!

Thats my purchase...the chain next to the owl with the green beak and the great thing about it....the flowers move up and down the chain so you can have them all spread out (like the one beside it) or have them chunked as it is, in one piece. Very versatile and creative!

Had to have a pair of earings to go with it...so settled on pink!!! All set for tomorrow!

So many incredibly creative people displaying their wares....but no photographs...so trying to get GK to help sort through some of our pics....and with a little designer flair on the framing side....we too could have a booth!!

A few more Shopping Festival things to attend before it ends on 2nd February so watch this space next weekend when we are heading for the Art Quarter's street market in Al Barsha on the outskirts of Dubai. Think it will be a bit like Camden Lock!!!
