How to make more foxes ...

This is Mama fox and Freddie. He appeared two or three days ago and has been following her around. I suspected he was just waiting for her to be receptive to his advances (vixens are only receptive for about three days, so the dog fox has to be on stand-by!)

I looked out into the garden, and saw them both sitting together at the bottom of the garden - then as I watched she raised her tail - rebuffed his first couple of advances - then 'bingo'!

Foxes can remain 'tied' for quite a long time - but these two had finished after 20 minutes.
