Signs of Spring

Today's walk was a lovely 7 mile circular from East Linton along the River Tyne to Hailes Castle (one of the cutest castles I've ever been to) and then up Traptain Law.

There were definitely signs of Spring with lots of snowdrops along the river and the gorse starting to flower.

We were delighted to find ponies (similar to those we saw at the top of Berwick Law last Sunday) almost at the top of Traptain Law, and also saw a pheasant and a deer.

Now for a nice steak supper!
