Chilly holly

Our afternoon stroll was full of surprises and this was one of many. As we came down off the top of the hill having risen above the inversion with a glimpse of the alps, the mist on the opposite side had created this hoar frost just in one particular spot and on the holly bush it caught only on the top exposed leaves. The detail was extraordinary.
