Life in the bus lane

Stole this line from last night's Corrie. I love the writing on Corrie. Another classic line in the same episode came from Hayley, "I look like I've brushed my hair with a toffee apple". Just brilliant.

Today was definitely more life in the bus lane than life in the fast lane. A pretty hum drum Saturday pottering round Chorlton with Audrey whilst Angus worked. One good thing about him doing a 9am-11pm shift is he can come home and get to bed at a reasonable-ish time tonight and he's up and at 'em for a Family Sunday. But the flip of that is Audrey and I have a Saturday without him :(

Audrey was in a 50/50 mood today. Fractious and charming in equal measure. Took her for lots of pram walks to compensate for all the lemon drizzle muffins I ate after baking them. Have come to the conclusion, baking is eeeeevil!! I just can't stop eating everything I bake!
