#100happydays - Day 14

Today's happiness snippet- introducing Cleo to art classics. I recently saw a blog for children's art projects based on classic artists. Here's the link. The first was Gustav Klimt so today we found a (massive) book of Klimt's artwork. We went through it together, talking about the pictures and choosing her favourites. Monkey enjoyed it too, especially the picture of the "monsta." She chose which picture she wanted to use to do the project with and luckily it was the same one as the blog (Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer 1). I made her a viewfinder to choose which part of the picture she wanted to create and she wanted to use the same shapes, circles, ovals and squares. I made those up using potatoes and corks and she was off with the metallic paint. The boy had fun doing some lego printing at the same time. Two more layers and her art piece will be complete!
