Day 364 - Where There's Smoke...

...there should be fire! I got some lovely Yankee Candles around Christmas time but ran out of matches and I keep forgetting to get more. I wanted to do a smoke shot tonight so had to try and light a piece of newspaper on the hob. The only problem is, it's a ceramic hob! It took ages to catch fire…

I didn't have any of my long incense sticks left so had to use a small stubby one that's been in the drawer for ages and it turns out it's rubbish for smoke shots!

Thankfully the weather was rubbish today - Dale is studying for prelims that start next week and I would have felt guilty going out… So I tidied and re-arranged my bedroom then decided to re-hang a cupboard door so it would open the opposite way. Call it practice for one of my living room doors. I didn't do too badly but still have the holes to fill in from the hinges. Dale is studying again tomorrow so I might strip the paint off the living room doors - started it about 8 months ago...
