Water of Leith Brass Rubbing

I spend a lot of my lunchtime walking alongside the Water of Leith. This brass rubbing filled with water at Bells Mills caught my eye, and especially how the reflections of branches are bent by the surface tension of the water.

This is one of many brass rubbings placed alongside the Water of Leith by the Water of Leith Conservation Trust. You can find out more by visiting the excellent Water of Leith Centre at Slateford.
