Mother's love

My friend's boy was 2 today. The sweetest wee child one could hope to know and the sweetest love between them to witness, quite the joy. We usually have coffee and get in a decent walk while our daughters are at ballet, today we did the same just with a birthday candle thrown in.

Meanwhile tonight Sienna is at a sleepover at (try and keep up with this!) my ex husband's house with our son (her brother), my ex's partner who is pregnant with their first child (due next month!) and his two daughters from his second marriage (the one after ours!) who are 7 and 5, the youngest her birthday today. The girls are great friends with Sienna and are known as her 'misters', sisters by different men and mothers!!! We are all meeting for lunch tomorrow. Now if that's not an example of a well adjusted 'blended' family I don't know what is!
