It was just as well that I got this in the can before going over to Carl's place, since nothing that made its way onto the camera afterwards was blip-worthy.

After a fantastic feed of beef wellington from Carl's kitchen and a bit of recorded TV, the absolute highlight of the day was watching Life of Pi in Carl's Kino in 3D. What an astonishing film. It was a visual feast, with really effective 3D effects tastefully and appositely applied. Suraj Sharma's performance is masterly. A great cinematic experience.
