Monochrome day

An unusally grey day here today and although we're glad of some rain for the garden it's a bit depressing to have to accept that it really is autumn. Marking this turning point in the seasons, I'm posting my first ever B&W blip and we've taken down this bead curtain from our kitchen door - there's no point pretending any more that we'll have the door open much, or that if we do there'll be flies to keep out!
