June Carey's Card

I mentioned the other day that I received a beautiful hand-drawn Christmas card from Stirling-based artist, June Carey,
I bought a frame for it today so before I put it behind glass I took a photograph.
Junes imagery is highly personal but I always find my own story in it.
June has just completed a mural at Stirling's Smith Art Gallery & Museum. It's being unveiled at the end of the month and I'm really looking forward to seeing it in situ.
She's also produced a book which will be launched at the same time.
June asked me to write an introduction which involved getting a guided tour around the inner sanctum of her studio looking at paintings dating back 30 or so years.
A tough job but someone had to do it...
