Don't look down!

Wet day. But the weather forecast was for a break in the clouds by mid afternoon - so we took the plunge!

No 2 is busy packing for her Skiing trip on Friday (now both thumbs are operational), No 1 was getting ready for work.

Nothing else for it - we took No 3 and the little pink bike for a walk along the canal to the Water of Leith Visitor Centre. She won an annual pass at the school Christmas Fayre. Lots of watery bug hunting ahead of us - I suspect!

Hot and Sweaty news from my sister in the Antipodes. I hope they have enough cool beer to get them through to Autumn. And their 'chub rub'* isn't too painful!

Finally settling down now - to watch '" Ferris Beuller's Day off" - chickachickaaa!

*Chub rub (noun/verb/adj) - Friction burns caused by sweaty thighs chafing together!
