Ice Skating

I took Orla to the Time Capsule this afternoon, with the intention of going swimming in the waterpark. It was closed for maintenance however, so the only alternative was an attempt at ice skating. I've only done it once before so was a little hesitant and had to go round the rink on my own to get used to it before I let Orla on. Thankfully neither of us fell down and by the end, Orla was clearly getting the hang of it. I'm glad we were kind of forced into it in a way because now we've done it once I'm sure we'll be back!

Anne and I watched The Great Gatsby in the evening, another partly serendipitous event being due to the fact that we had forgotten to record The Voice and last week's show not being available on iPlayer.
