DDW January Challenge #18 Quiet

Today was a great day. Mary Jo and I went to Polished Spa in Bellingham for pedicures. After being pampered at the spa, we headed across the street to Avenue Bread and had tuna melts for lunch. Bayview Cemetery was next, where we tried out the tripod I got for Christmas, running up the hill to get ourselves in the shot.

I set out a bit early this morning, so I stopped at Lake Padden on the way and took this picture. It was shortly after 10 and surprisingly very quiet, few people in sight. Fairly warm and sunny for a January day in these parts.
