January 18, Waterfall Trail

We drove along the west side of the Hood Canal today, taking advantage of the Waterfall Trail to visit a few falls with either easy trail hikes or visible from the parking areas. We ended in Olympia, the state capital, for lunch and a bit of play. Lots of time in the car, but a great day seeing yet another part of this beautiful region. I see some back country camping in our future (fingers crossed!).
