This made us laugh

Craning our necks so we could gawp at the wonders of Venice, Mum and I were surprised to see this round, furry face gazing down intently at us. It was not what we were expecting!

Of course, I've taken a gazillion pictures of Venice - it's stunningly beautiful and we had perfect weather. After arriving by water bus and finding our hotel, we explored various canals and hopped over many bridges. We were sustained by lovely pasta and the most amazing coconut and pistachio ice creams. The coffee was fantastic, but there was a distinct lack of tea - we did find some, though, and I didn't mind that it was coconut flavoured. I'm heading off to Twinings to see if I can find the flavour - yum, yum, yum!!!
