How dare you stare at me!

How dare you stare at me and come round here taking pictures! What do you think this is - Benefit Street? I work very hard to get up here for my food! It's taken me three attempts and now I am squatting. Yes! I am looking down my beak at you, you lowlife!

Ahem... Excuse me? Can I have something else instead of mealworms tomorrow? They give me wind...

Anyway, enough of that very stuck up pigeon. Saturday was Stratford day for a meeting with Frank in The Garrick Inn. I forgot to ask him earlier to bring his new camera out but he did anyway and I had a great play with it and decided that a bridge camera would be perfect for me. Frank had done loads of research before he made his purchase and as he is always right and we never argued (much) when he was my manager, I knew there was no need for me to mess about. He had very nearly got the Canon SX50 instead of the Fujifilm FinePix HS50 but the Fuji had the edge for him. I have settled on the Canon as it is slightly lighter than the Fuji and also I am currently using a Canon G12 and really like it.

Without any further messing about, I ordered my new camera using my Amazon app - don't you just love modern technology?! - which should arrive on Monday along with a few other odds and ends which will arrive during the week. Sorted!
