Brunch

Perhaps the best weekend invention - brunch! In particular, when it is shared with great people on a beautiful veranda in perfect weather.

I recently came across a great little recipe book of simple (but exquisite) brunch items. When I called my friend yesterday to pin her down to some hang out time this weekend, it seemed like the perfect timing - she's got a great veranda, I wanted to try one of these recipes. So brunch today was born, with lemon and herb mushrooms on bruschetta with paneer; croissants and good company.

And it was a great way to spend half of Sunday.
