Security - Rwandan style

All of the larger houses in Kigali have their own security guards - employed by by Rwandese and Europeans. They look very threatening.....but are the happiest, friendliest guards I've seen.

The guard in the photograph is Eric - who looks after my friends' house. A shy young man who has been making a good effort not to laugh as I try out the few phrases of Kinyarwanda I know.
