Els Tres Tombs

Another popular celebration, connected to Sant Antoni Abat, who must have had something to do with animals. On this day people take their animalsto the village to be blessed by the priest. It's very popular with horses, though cats, dogs, goldfish, etc are all welccome! The man with the basket walked up and plonked it down at the priest's feet so it, too, got a sprinkle of Holy Water, but I couldn't see what was in it. Wee chickens perhaps.
The procession has to circle around the village three times (Tres Tombs), being blessed every time they pass the church.
