The food of Angels

Daughter #1 has wanted to try to make an angel food cake since seeing as a technical challenge on the Great British Bake Off. It is a light, fat free cake that has to be cooled upside down in the tin to stop it sinking back in on itself. A birthday is the perfect excuse-so here is the finished cake along with homemade passion fruit curd. Let's hope it tastes as good as it looks.
