Meditation in the kitchen
It was another beautiful spring-like afternoon in Istanbul which I spent with family at lunch /tea, working on my Turkish. I was welcomed home by Sari (a garage cat) and our own lovely creatures.
As always when in a contemplative mood, I went to the kitchen to bake. I created a wheat-free, fat-free apple cinnamon cake (oops, forgot the cinnamon) that is actually yummy (the substitute for butter and sugar is home-made apple sauce). Feel great and will likely eat it tonight.
