Road Closed

This is Islip near Oxford. To the left of the wooden poles is the road, to the right is a strip of grass leading to the river. The river isn't even in the shot!
It often floods there but I've never seen it like this. Luckily no houses are flooded.
We drove past last night on our way back from Mr M's but it was too dark to see anything.
That was one small thing about having to go back this morning to get my phone.
The other good thing was breakfast at Browns.
And a mooch round Oxford.
And a browse round Blackwells looking to spend my Christmas book vouchers.
And a couple of hours with my lovely husband whilst the Little Misses stayed at Nana's.
Quite a few good things really!
Less good is Miss E's current meltdown.
Mr K is dunking them in the bath then it's straight to their beds.
Late night karaoke sessions bring out the devils in them!!
