'If you're not lighting any candles....'

'If you're not lighting any candles, don't complain about the dark.'

I'm not sure about the origin of this quote but it seems like good advice to follow.

January is a dark enough month and I'm sure it will seem a while before the days brighten.
Meanwhile, I will enjoy being able to close the curtains and put my PJ's on as early as possible. Got to see the bright side.
